Use case
Intercompany, paired across entities.
Tessel pairs intercompany lines across entities and currencies as they post, so the balances agree before consolidation instead of after it.
Book a demoThe problem
Two entities, two versions of the same transfer.
Each entity books its side of an intercompany transfer in its own currency, on its own day. At consolidation the two sides don’t agree, and someone spends the evening finding out why.
The difference is almost always FX and timing, and it is almost always found too late.
The workflow
Four steps, three of them Tessel’s.
- 01
Map your entities
Tell Tessel which accounts are intercompany between which entities.
- 02
Tessel pairs both sides
Each side is matched to the other, with the FX rate and date that explain the gap.
- 03
Review the differences
Pairs that don’t agree within your tolerance come to you with the reason.
- 04
Eliminate on consolidation
Agreed pairs are ready to eliminate, with the evidence attached.
